Christmas Dinner - A Savoring Tradition

My mother is a great deal like me, or vice versa.  She and cooking aren't the best of friends, but it's always tradition to have our Christmas Day dinner at my parents.  My dad grills marinated steaks, my mom makes twice baked potatoes, and grandma always comes armed with her homemade yeast rolls!

Like every other room in her home, it's decorated to the nines for Christmas.

Even the little ones have a place to be :)

As the food starts to role in, we say grace and chow down!

Yes, my plate is photo worthy!  Only if I could savor each bite again!

This year, Christmas was on a Wednesday and our church normally has a Wednesday night service, so it only seemed right to keep it with the CHRISTmas birthday celebration.

We normally have a praise band, but for this service the lights were dimmed and acoustic instruments were used.  It was a perfect feel in the sanctuary.

Jimmy had to work on Christmas day from 11am - 5pm, so he was unable to make it to the family dinner, but met us - along with his parents - at the Christmas Day service so we could get a complete family photo.
